How do I place an order?

Please contact us by calling 801.363.2574. You may also email us, submit a form for a representative to call you or send a fax. Our Bridal Consultants are happy to answer any questions you may have and to provide outstanding service.

What fabrics do you use?

We use high quality matte satin, chiffon, organza, taffeta, and tulle. Our wedding gowns are designed and created above standards for a better look and fit. We are pleased to bring our affordable bridal dresses to you without jeopardizing the integrity of the gown.

Can I try it on before I order the gown?

Our bridal dresses, homecoming gowns, prom dresses, or bridesmaids gowns may be tried on at the Gateway Bridal & Prom Showroom located in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Gateway shopping mall. Please contact us to schedule an appointment or stop by at your convenience.

If I do not like the product, can I return it?

Yes. Please review our return policy.

How long does it take to receive the product?

It all depends on the particular product and size. We have many styles and sizes available immediately. Just tell us what your need-by-date is and we will do all we can to deliver it on time or before. If there are any problems with delivering the product, we will inform you as soon as possible.

When do I pay for the gown?

Payment for the gown is required at the time of ordering; however, your card will not be charged until your order is confirmed (within 24 hours). We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You may also pay with a money order or check, but please allow additional time for delivery and processing. Charges apply for non-sufficient funds.

What if the gown does not fit when it arrives?

Please use the size chart that corresponds with the wedding dress before you order. Take time to be measured properly, and if you have any questions, please contact us. You still may need some alterations such as hemming the skirt or raising the shoulders. If the product is dramatically sized wrong, please let us know and we will do all we can to exchange it for a better size (shipping costs apply). You may also return the product, but please view our full return policy and other policies first.

Your Bridal Consultant will review the size chart for your gown prior to ordering. They will also assist you to obtain accurate measurements for your gown. MOST GOWNS REQUIRE MINOR ALTERATIONS SUCH AS HEMMING THE SKIRT OR RAISING THE SHOULDERS. If the gown has been dramatically sized incorrectly, please let us know, and we will do what we can to exchange it for a better fit. If the sizing of the gown is simply defective, please see our return policy.

Will I still need some alterations?

Most formalwear products require some altering to obtain the perfect fit depending on the size and shape of the particular customer. For example, it is common to have the shoulders of the gown brought in or to adjust the length of the wedding dresses to match your height.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes, we will in most cases. Additional shipping charges may apply. Please contact us with any questions.

How do I specify that I want custom changes when I place an online order?

If you are ordering a dress with custom changes, it is easier to make sure they are done correctly when the order is placed over the phone. However, if you wish to order custom changes online, add any specific instructions to the notes section when ordering.

Are there any stores where I live that carry Gateway Bridal & Prom's dresses?

Our dresses are made for and ordered by Gateway Bridal & Prom so they are not necessarily carried by other dress stores. This is why Gateway Bridal & Prom offers online ordering with a return policy available.

Does Gateway Bridal & Prom have any franchise opportunities available?

We are not offering franchises at this time.

I have a pregnant bridesmaid, do you offer any of your plus size bridesmaid dresses in a maternity style?

Yes, you can get the following plus size bridesmaids styles made in a maternity cut: Ella, Harmony, Bonnie, Karina, and Corinne.

If I order multiple plus size bridesmaids dresses, can I get a discount?

Yes, if you order 4 or more plus size bridesmaids gowns, you will receive a 5% discount on the plus size dresses (the discount does not apply to any shipping, rush, or custom fees).

Do I have to order my plus size bridesmaid's dresses in the same colors as the ones pictured on your website?

No, you can order your bridesmaid gown in whatever colors you'd like. The colors are listed in the description of the bridesmaids dress. If the formalwear gown is show with multiple colors, you can order whatever two colors you'd like.
